This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, moves quickly, communicates well, and takes pride in giving guests a good experience. Responsibilities • Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service • Take food and drink orders accurately • Deliver food and beverages to tables • Check on guests throughout their visit • Help maintain a clean and organized dining room • Assist with opening, closing, side work, and restocking • Work with kitchen and bar staff to keep service running smoothly • Support golf outings, events, banquets, and busy dining periods as needed Ideal Candidate The right person is dependable, positive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Newberry Country Club & Woodland Grill Newberry Country Club is looking for an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen operation at Woodland Grill and help shape the food program for the club, restaurant, golf events, outings, banquets, and seasonal member experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can cook at a high level, manage a kitchen team, control food costs, create menus, and bring consistency, creativity, and professionalism to the operation. About the Role The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, including daily restaurant service, event menus, prep systems, ordering, inventory, food safety, kitchen staffing, and menu development. We are looking for someone who can build a strong kitchen culture and deliver a reliable, high-quality dining experience for members, guests, golfers, and the local community. Responsibilities • Lead day-to-day kitchen operations for Woodland Grill and Newberry Country Club events • Create and maintain menus for lunch, dinner, golf outings, banquets, weddings, and special events • Hire, train, schedule, and manage kitchen staff • Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, consistency, and cleanliness • Manage food purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory, waste control, and food cost • Ensure compliance with health department and food safety standards • Work with ownership/management on seasonal menus, specials, events, and promotions • Build efficient prep systems and service procedures • Help develop a positive, professional kitchen culture • Support catering, tournaments, member events, and private parties Ideal Candidate The right person is dependable, organized, creative, and comfortable leading from the front. You should be able to handle busy service, manage people fairly, and understand that consistency is just as important as creativity. Job Description: Newberry Country Club is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Pro Shop Associate to join our team. This position is the first point of contact for many of our guests and members, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, provides great customer service, and helps create a welcoming golf experience. Responsibilities: Greet members and guests in a professional and friendly manner Check in golfers and manage tee times Answer phone calls and assist with questions about tee times, events, rates, and merchandise Operate the point-of-sale system for pro shop purchases and golf fees Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop Restock merchandise and assist with displays Help with opening and closing duties Support daily golf operations as needed Qualifications: Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable handling transactions and using a computer/POS system Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Golf knowledge is a plus, but not required What We’re Looking For: We want someone who is personable, organized, and ready to help create a great experience for everyone who visits the course.
